Why do you need a Student account?

As a franchisee or an employee of a franchisee of a Choice® hotel property, you have exclusive access to a large volume of customized training resources to help improve your professional development and business skillset. Resources range in topics from day-to-day operations to industry hot topics and are available for every job role on property.

To access these resources you must first have a personal student account on ChoiceU.com which must be created for you by the General Manager (GM) at your hotel. Once your student account has been created, you are ready to begin! Your journey will begin with logging in.

Logging into choiceU.com

  1. Go to www.ChoiceU.com
  2. At the initial ChoiceU Login screen enter your Username and Password.
  3. Click the Log In button to submit your information. (Image: Log In Box)
  4. Once you have successfully logged in ChoiceU.com will open with your personalized welcome page.

Retrieving Your Username or Password

  1. If you cannot remember your username or password, you may retrieve them by clicking on the Forgot username/password link (Image: Forgot Password 1). 
  2. Enter either your Username or Email Address (Image: Forgot Password 2)
  3. Click the Reset button. Shortly after clicking the button you will receive an email with your username and further instructions to reset your password.
  4. To begin, click here to reset your ChoiceU.com password.

Note: If you have an invalid email address you must contact your GM at your property to reset your password.

Updating Your Preferences

  1. Once you have logged into your account you can update your profile or preferences by clicking on the menu item title Profile.
  2. From your Profile Page go to the Preferences section, you may edit your Full Name, Email, Password, Choice Privileges number, or your Time Zone (not shown in example). If a field is grayed out you must contact a ChoiceU Main Admin to make the edit.
  3. Once you have made your edits you will need to click the Update button to save your changes.
